MacSig Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Hello, there is a issue I have to fix ASAP so I post my problem here too (yesterday I have sent out the same through FileMaker Talk but no answer so far). Does FM9S have some kind of cache? If so how can I clean it? I have a DB published through IWP, each record has a supercontainer field (a PDF file). I have updated all the files manually (to save time) and now when I try to open them using FM some are fine and some are the temporary files I have created for testing purposes. The file name is right but once I click the icon the file that is going to open is the old one (that has been deleted from the server). Because of that I guess the issue is related to some kind of caching. Thanks and have a nice day
mr_vodka Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Perhaps this is more appropriate for the super container forum? Server caches but this shouldnt effect your files that you have in super container. You can always set your server cache to clear every minute.
MacSig Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Thanks for your reply. Since FM cache is cleared every minute the issue is definitely related to SC. I will contact 360works. Thanks again
mr_vodka Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I will move this to the Super container forums as well.
