garyaj Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Hi I am probably being an idiot but this is driving me mad. I have created a layout for a letter, on which there are fields from my database. The filemaker Print Setup and Print options are set to A4, yet when I preview or print only half the page prints on the A4 paper. On the screen is a dotted line which represents where the printing is stopping on the paper and my body size extends beyond this. Any advice as how to extend the print area so all the A4 paper is printed on would be appreciated.
Inky Phil Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Gary, are you trying to print this layout from within a script? Phil
Jane in AZ Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 This may be a silly question, but with it only printing on half the paper, is it set to 2 per page?
Vaughan Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 You know that nothing to the right of the dotted line gets printed out...

Than make sure that all the elements you want to print fit within the boundaries shown on you layout when viewed in layout mode.
Vaughan Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Go into the layout setup, into the printing tab and check what the page margins are set to.
