value list, how to block pasting

using a drop-down menu list is a simple way to provide a limited set of possible field entries

BUT, just use copy & paste to enter any field contend you want (or better: dont want) in the drop-down menu field

Any ideas how to block copy & paste for drop down menu fields?

Set the field validation to 'must be part of value list' and the user will not be able to enter anything else
