I'm just getting a handle on SC and I'm wondering if what I've come up with is the best way to handle a situation.

I have a folder of 1,200 images, about a gig total. I can't seem to figure out how to batch import the folder into SC using SC.

What I've done is batch import them into a FM file, parse out the name, then use a looping script to push the image into SC via SCSetContainer().

Does that seem correct?

That sounds like the right approach. There is a movie here which shows the process of switching existing container fields to SuperContainer:

This video is about useless! He moves so fast, never explains what he is doing or why. It all looks so simple but it isn't!
