David Jondreau Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I'm just getting a handle on SC and I'm wondering if what I've come up with is the best way to handle a situation. I have a folder of 1,200 images, about a gig total. I can't seem to figure out how to batch import the folder into SC using SC. What I've done is batch import them into a FM file, parse out the name, then use a looping script to push the image into SC via SCSetContainer(). Does that seem correct?
Jesse Barnum Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 That sounds like the right approach. There is a movie here which shows the process of switching existing container fields to SuperContainer: http://www.360works.com/supercontainer/demos/migrate/
Amazin1 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 This video is about useless! He moves so fast, never explains what he is doing or why. It all looks so simple but it isn't!
Jesse Barnum Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 The video is intended to show how somebody would set up SuperContainer, but it is not intended to replace the documentation. If you've read the documentation and still have questions on using SuperContainer, please feel free to contact us at 770-234-9293. I also realized, after watching the video this morning, that this video does not demonstrate setting up the looping script that the original poster was asking about. That's in a different video, which can be viewed here: http://www.360works.com/supercontainer/demos/set_container/
