Spirodoc Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 First I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this post. I have two tables, one is a list of contacts and the second is the dates of service interaction. I would like to to be able to see on today's service interaction the last date the contact came for service. Last (Date Seen)provides me with the current date. Help is appreciated!
Fenton Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Since you're in a Service record for the Contact, which likely already has a date (today's date), you would be wanted to see the "2nd to last date for this Contact." Not so easy. You need a self-relationship on ContactID. Then, in order to eliminate the current record, you need to add another line with Date Seen as the field, with a ">" operator. Then Last (self_Contact_Earlier::Date Seen) will get the earlier record. DateEarlier.fp7.zip
Spirodoc Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 Fenton, Works perfectly! Thank you Spirodoc
