Does FP7 provide the capabilty to output a report to PDF (or MS Word?) What are my options for emailing a report/layout? Thanks.

You can look for a free PDF generator that allows you to print to PDF or upgrade your FMP.

Thanks. This seems to confirm that pdf is not native to fp7 but is included in new releases. I need to stay in fp7. Would there be any scripting solutions that would allow me to automate usage of the free pdf "printer?" I'd like my solutions to nor require user intervention. Thanks again.

These softwares usually get installed and act like just another printer.

Actually IMHO you need to *get away* from FMP 7. It was the first of the "new breed" of FileMaker versions and is the buggiest. FMP 8 was much better; FMP 8.5 was better again.
