It would be great to have a timer in filemaker so things database Maintenance can be set automatically in an specific time, this is a very powerful thing, right now the only wa y i know how to do it is via plugins but it would be great to have it included in the software already so we can a timer in the layouts and a script that calls specific times to run themselves.

Currently, if you have server 9, you can run server side scripts with script steps that are web compatible. You can set up a schedule to run it at specific time.
