When I launch FM Pro, it takes about a minute and a half to load. The first screen comes quickly, but the rest takes ages. Once it's all loaded then everything is fine, but it's so slooooow to start. Anyone any ideas?

I'm on W98SE, 8oo mghz, 132 RAM.

What do you mean by "the rest"?

It's probably the networking stuff initialising -- make sure the machine is configured correctly. If you're not using the network, select none in FMP preferences.

Alternatively, it could be fonts: does the machine have a lot of fonts installed?
