Is there a function that will return whether a field on a layout allows entry in Browse/Find mode?

I'm looking at various meta-field functions and none of them seem to do this.

That information is provided by the DDR but AFAIK no functions provide this information.

Yeah, I did a search yesterday and couldn't find anything that would do. Couldn't even think of an ugly hack...

But if it's in the DDR then there must be some way of knowing.

I was hoping to use such a function for a conditional formatting calc. Ah well.
