Were there changes in functions between 8.0 and 8.5? I have a repeater showing a calculated text result that works correctly in 8.5 but not 8.0 where it just returns "?".

The 8.0 machines are running v3. I'm waiting to hear on the 8.5 ones.

The List function was new in 8.5, and named objects etc. Link

Ah. I think List() is breaking.

I put an If in the startup script of every file that checks the app version. If it's below the spec it pops up an alert and closes the file. Solves these problems very quickly.

I did this after doing a job for a new client who seriously micromanages people... at 9:30 pm at night he phone me to complain that the new modifications weren't working. After 30 minutes of frustration it turned out he was using FMP 7.0 and the mods required 8.0.
