I understand how to set a field that will populate the Account Name that created a New Record.

But, what if that field did not exist before? Is there a way to retro-actively acquire the account used to create a record?

Well, does the record have any info that you could use to determine who created it? A staff name, perhaps that might relate to a name in a staff table, which in turn gets you the Account Name?

No, I was hoping there was some system information stored per record - kind of like exif data on an image.

Nothing that I'm aware of.
