Ok 2 files, acq.fp7 and photo.fp7. I built a relationship serial = serial for each file. Now when the serials match, the image should show up in the portal...right...not so. I get nothing. other portals work just fine, except this one. Any advice?

(click the upper left corner of acq and password is blank, Admin is user)to get filemaker menu's

Not quite, Kevin. You have two fields in the relationship from AcqDis to Product Catalog (serial and model) and they BOTH must match exactly.

Model 1911 is sn 0258745. So if, from AcqDis, you go to record 2 (which is sn 0258745 and Model 1911), it fills in the picture properly. From what I can tell, it works fine. So I would guess we need more information?

That is weird. I just added another image with matching model and sn and nothing shows up. I know I am missing something...

I found the error... I insert the image in photos and it will not show up until a new record is created in photo's! Basically I must have a blank record to have it show up in acq. So, what do I do to allow it to show in acq without adding a blank record?

Got it... It is a sloppy way around the issue, but it works. In the insert image script in the photo db, I added to the end, new record request and then delete record request. And it seems to work now...
