Portals/IWP/Firefox

Featured Replies

I run my application via FileMaker's Instant Web Publishing. When you click on a portal record with a lot of information from within FMP the portal record extends down so you can read the entire field easily. Not so with IWP: portal rows don't extend down if they contain a lot of information. With Internet Explorer I can enter a portal row and can scroll to the far right end of the row in order to read all of the information that that field. With Foxfire that can't be done. You can only read what you see on the screen and you can't scroll.

So I want to display the information from a field in the active portal row in a separate large text box with wrapping so that the user can read click on a portal row and see the entire text in a separate field. I'm sure this is really simple but I'm new to FPM and can't seem to make this work.

Any suggestions? Clear as mud?

Thanks,

Will
