Can i just distribute the apps that i made using filemaker? Do i need to install FM to be able to run a filemaker on every computer?

Hi rapido, and Welcome to the Forum.

You have to have the Advance Edition of FileMaker in order to make Standalones, so that your users don't have to have a copy of the Application.

Filemaker runtimes, as Lee described, are made using FileMaker Advanced Developer tools. However, you should be aware that they are not multi-user, but rather stand alone applications.

The only other way around purchasing a client copy of FM for each workstation is to build a web front-end. However, you won't save much.
