Combining <First Name> & text in email body

Apologies if this has already been addressed. In the Contact Management template of Filemaker 9 I want to send a broadcast email to a found set of contacts. The Send Mail pull down menu does not allow me to personalize the email body with both and then text data following it. I can do one or the other, but not both. The Email Campaign Management template allows this but not Contact Management... which is the preferred template for my needs. Is there a simple way to work around this?

Go into the Send Email Script:

Script->ScriptMaker->Send Email->Edit

Double click on the Script Command (Send Mail)

When the Email Box opens click on the arrow to the right of the message box and choose "Specify by Calculation." Then set your calculation to:

&" "&"Text." I.E.

"Dear "&&":"&"¶"&"Just a follow up."&"¶¶"&"Regards,"&"¶¶¶"&"Vinnie"

This should give you:

Just a follow up.
