I see that esign offers a solution for this but I was wondering if anyone has done this with another solution. I am needing a basic signature box for the client to sign. Then I need to save it in the DB. I was pondering writing a VB.net application to capture the signature and somehow call it from Filemaker and then have the VB app save the signature to a file and then use a filemaker script to import the file to the DB. Seems a little cheesy to me. Any Ideas?

FWIW I implemented this for a client using the eSign Signature Capture plugin and it was pretty straightforward. No need to reinvent the wheel.

I agree 100% except that esign is 250ish a copy and I need 10 copies or 2500.00. That is a little bit of jack....
