Can you have a pull-down menu in a repeating field?

Welcome to FM Forums. Yes you can.

Repeating fields are generally to be avoided, however.

What's the best way to set this up? We have a database of students in a special program. I have set up a layout with the student ID, name, services (the value list in repeating field) the program staff members (repeating field), and contact time (another repeating field). I need something for people who are even less experienced with the program than I am.

As Fitch said repeating fields for user data should be avoided if you intend to report (sub summary) on it at a future date.

You would do yourself great justice to examine a relational model using a portal for the data fields: services, program staff members, contact time, assigning them a value lists as needed.

oh and welcome to the forums!
