Sticky Note Circle Over a Screen

I do education using Filemaker for some illustrations. I would like to place circles over certain data fields for highlighting purposes, but the circles would appear over different field in different records.

Is there any tool I can use that would hold these circles in place so that a pdf could be produced from the Filemaker data screens with the circles in different places for each record?

Use container fields to hold the circles? Layer them under the data fields.

You're using FileMaker 6?

I'm using FileMaker 9.

There's too many locations on a screen that could need to be highlighted for the container idea to be practical. Thanks anyhow.

I know I can do what I need with Acrobat to the pdf file that gets created. I was hoping to avoid that cost and chore by doing it directly over the Filemaker screen before the pdf gets created.
