Fields sliding in portal but shouldn't

Hello everyone!

I'm stumped on this one. I've got this layout with a portal. (I've attached a copy to the post.) For some reason, even though I do not have "sliding left" turned on, the fields within the portal are sliding when I print. It shows up this way in print preview as well. I've tried turning sliding off and on for both the portal and the individual fields but neither has helped. The fields don't appear to be collapsing, but just "jumping" over a little bit for printing.

Any ideas?

You have a number of layouts that feature portals - give us a clue.

Layout name AND table occurrence please.

Whoops. Sorry! ;)

The layout is Apartment Comp Sheet - 2 Page. The main table in that is Haines-Improved and the portal shows the table Apartments.

How strange...

Your portal is set to slide UP - if yo also set it slide LEFT then the fields get positioned correctly.

The really odd factor is if you turn off sliding in the portal then the fields get clipped at the top!

I must admit I've never considered reducing a portal before.

Well, if you copy the entire portal (and its contents), cut the one that is there and paste your clipboard contents back, it works fine. I would suspect that, at some time, a bit of corruption affected your file.

I had noticed that about toggling the sliding and printing options and got the same results as you.

Thanks for the heads up about cutting and pasting LaRetta. That did the trick!
