Field History

I want to create a field that keeps a "history" of the values entered in another field from the same table. Basically, when the user changes the value in Field A, I want that new value to be added to a list in Field B, without forcing the user to press a button. I've tried playing around with calc fields but no luck so far. Is this possible to do in FM9?
