April 19, 200124 yr Newbies I have been using FM5 for our Customer Support Database for a few weeks now, having upgraded from FM3. I have had no problems with FM5 until yesterday where the application started crashing randomly while carrying out scripts. One script simply makes a SEND call to an Adobe Acrobat document for viewing statistics. I saw no problem in doing this as FM3 worked without error. This morning however when I open my main database I get an "Exception Error" once the file starts to load. This file that I use runs a sub-script to open two other linked (relationship) databases and they seem to open individually without any problems. The error only occurs when I open the main database and it performs the sub-script to open the other databases. The "Exception Error" reports an error in module:- CLLNGENU.DLL I can repeat this error everytime I perform a RECOVER on the database and try to open it up again. My initial thought was that a change to the database layout caused this problem so I resorted to restoration of a backup copy from two days ago. Still the same problem. Help. Am I looking at a simple re-installation of FM5, or is the main database causing the problem? Look forward to a prompt reply. Thanks in advance for any help available.

Then call Filemaker Inc Tech Support, as they should be the first line for this kind of problem.
