Newbies ABarry Posted January 12, 2009 Newbies Posted January 12, 2009 Good morning! I hope someone can help me! I have a script for saving files as PDf which works wonderfully, EXCEPT the files are 3x's larger and the resolution of graphics are worse compared to printing those same files as PDF's. So, my questions are: 1. Can I edit the PDF format properties to emulate the "print as pdf" version OR 2. Does anyone know how to imput the filename into the window for saving if using the print file function to push a PDF out If any of this is unclear (it is early and I haven't had coffee yet) please let me know. : Thanks in advance!
wireshop Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I know this is a round about solution but when I need to tweak a pdf I use a program like Easy PDF creator or Macromedia Flashpaper. You print to them like a printer and then you can edit the pdf settings.
Newbies ABarry Posted January 12, 2009 Author Newbies Posted January 12, 2009 I wish I was only talking a few PDF's because that is the solution I would love to do, but this specific output would be close to 1000 PDF's that would be saved by $filename through a script. So, any other round abouts? I am just at a loss on how to deal with this issue...
bcooney Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Have you tested the file size of a FM10 pdf? Supposedly, it's improved. Download a FM10 demo.
