Need to delete most of records but not all

I need to send someone a sample of my database so I need to delete most of the 633 records but not all.

Either that or export 20+ of them.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am running FMP9

Unless I'm missing something, you just need to do a find on some pertinent attribute to exclude your 20+ main records, then delete the rest. Of course, you will do this on a copy of your database. So Make A Copy first. Then play with deleting, etc.

there isn't anything common that I know of... but if I could find someone how would I delete them?

thank you, in FMP there is no scripting option for "Delete found set"I wish I could type free hand but it doesn't seem to want to let me.

Does that come with a better version?
