Welcome to FM Forums, Haj!!

We need more information. Does each of the related tables have multiple dates or just one matching record with a date? Why do you say 2009-01-01 is the last date when there are dates 2010-12-12 etc? Do you mean the last date PRIOR to the current date?

I would also question 13 tables with dates. What type of data do these tables hold, ie, is the data the same? It seems the data IS the same or why else might you want to compare the dates from each of them? There may be valid reasons for the 13 tables but I feel I need to ask.

And finally, can you post your file for us to see what you are trying to achieve? Otherwise, we will need you to explain the purpose and how you are currently related and a file is easier overall.

Again, there are many wonderful people here willing to assist you so don't hesitate to ask. :smile2:

Your response was a bit difficult to totally understand but try this:

Create a calculation (result is date):

Max ( field1 ; field2 ; field3 )

Include all of your fields. However, I usually cringe when I see a calculation referring to another calculation because it becomes very slow and it can make reverse-engineering difficult. If you wish to consider other options on your solution - like maybe how to eliminate some of those date calculations, let us know and we can help you with that as well.
