Hi all,

Is it possible to use a drop down menu using a value list within a Custom Dialog box? Using FM9.

I think you'll need to design a new layout that serves as your dialog. If you open a new window to this layout, hide and lock the status area and pause, it'll be just like a modal dialog.

Many thanks. How is it possible to open a layout in a new wondow - not done this before. I can see the script step to open a new Wiindow but how would you go about opening the particular layout in that particular Window?

New Window

Go to Layout (dialog)

Hide/Lock Status

Adjust Resize to Fit

Pause

Do stuff...

Close Window.

Put a button on the dialog layout that is set to Resume Script.
