Is there a way to change a date format from MM/DD/CCYY to CCYYMMDD?

I assume there is a way to do this with XML. I dont know XML very well at all, is there a primer somewhere on using XML stylesheets?

It's possible, but hardly worth the effort. Format your date field to display as YYYYMMDD, and select 'Apply current layout's data formatting...' when exporting.
