Hello All,

I have run into this odd error. I had my database linked to another FileMaker database and when the linked database was moved and no longer existed at the given file location. The next time I loaded the database into FileMaker and opened the external data sources dialog the external data source showed up as shown in the attachment. I am not able to do anything to that data source, I can add new sources and edit them fine but this "blank" data source cannot be operated on at all. Cannot remove or edit it. Any help is much appreciated!

Hmmmmm... Try saving a copy of the file as compact. If not, perhaps report this to FMI as a bug.

I tried to save as a copy with no luck. I just added a custom function and this happened to me again only now its a custom function that is mimicking the external data source's behavior.
