I'm just starting to work with Filemaker 10 and I must say that I am fairly impressed so far.

I am struggling a bit with the new layout tools.

As I recall, I used to be able to see at a glance how many records were in my database and which record number was currently active.

Wasn't there also a small scroll bar gizmo that allowed you to scroll through the records?

There was also a button that you could click and hold down to dial font sizes up or down.

Can anybody tell me how to find these tools again?

The Rolodex is still available, however it may have been removed by someone Customizing the Status Toolbar. It should be above your record, as version 10 moved it from the Left side to the top. You can modify that Status Toolbar by going to the [color:blue]Menu >> [color:blue]View >> [color:blue]Customize Status Toolbar.

BTW, if you have made the move to v10, don't forget to change your Profile to reflect the change.

The problem was in the "Customize Toolbars" Menu.

I needed to show Text [color:red]& Icons.
