Get (ActiveTabName) ??

Featured Replies

when navgating around my layouts, it would often be nice to be able to return to the previously viewed tab in a tab control set instead of the default tab.

i thought i'd store the active tab name in a variable, then use 'Go to object' to return, but i can't find a way to store the active tab name. how come we don't have Get (ActiveTabName) or something like that? is there a trick required?

thanks for these pointers. looks like we went from complex workarounds now to complex scripts for something that looks like it should be so simple.

it's almost easier to revert back to the old days with mockup tabs in several layouts. a nowin-nowin situation ;-)

I don't think it's that complex. It's a little tricky to get the name of the front tab, but the rest is rather straightforward.

being only a semi-programmer, i've finally recovered from stomach cramps after digesting the template referred to (burp).

when i'm done with my solution, my medical insurance will be amortized!!

thanks much (now back to the stomach-bitterly bottle for the next function)!
