Hi,

I am using Fm 8.5 advanced and troi file plugin 3.6

I have images in my FM database and I want to create a folder on the remote server and export related images to that folder.

I am able to create a folder on the remote server,

but when I export the field contents to that remote server path, its not doing it. If I use the exact path got by findfolder, it does something without giving the error but I dot find the file in there or anywhere, when I change the file path as remoteservername/wwwroot/...path, it gives the error as to file not found or Not enough disk change disk. but there is enough space in there and I have access to that folder.

I am able to export the contents to local folder on he desktop. I wanted to create a folder on desktop, eort the files to that folder and move the folder to remote server. But I read that Troi plug in 4 has the movefolder function.

I also read that it is possible to give the remote variable name in the export field contents in FM 9.

So either I have to upgrade the plugins or the Fm 9. I am in the middle of very important scripting and need to finish it within a week.I do nt have enough time to deal with problems that occur due to FM 8.5 to 9 upgradation. Once this all programming is setteled, I will have to look into migration to FM9.

In this situation which would be easy ? or is there any other alternative for this export field econtents to remote server problem. I would appreciate any adivce or help .

thanks

perhaps you're forgetting the "filewin:" prefix?

Your path should resemble:

filewin://computerName/shareName/directoryName/fileName
