Ralph Schwegler Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Good morning dear FileMaker Community Once more i am stuck with a problem i thought I have already solved earlier, but I lost the solution (as i mostly work on FM 6). In FM6, I had a table for central data, like logo, current user, bank data, and so on. It was linked to the working tables with fields called "one", which was a calculation field with value 1. In FM9 I could go on working like this, but I'm quite sure there is a faster qay. Can anyone help on this easy issue? Thank you in advance
IdealData Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 FM9 (and since FM7) supports multiple relationship match methods. You are of course familiar with "=", but there is also... "≠" : not equal "<" ; less than "≤" : less than or equal ">" : greater than "≥" : greater than or equal "x" : cartesian join (match ALL) You want "x". Don't forget to look in the FM help system for more clarification.
Ralph Schwegler Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Hello Mark Silly me! I had it designed like that, but could not use any data. I rechecked everything, and now it works! Thanx a bunch, best regards
