Simple Text Box Question

Featured Replies

I'm stumped with a little problem I can't believe I've never encountered before: I have a little text box in a portal that displays keywords from a lexicon. I've made it long enough to handle 99% of the keywords, but I'm concerned that in some odd cases the user won't see the entire keyword. When you enter a field in Browse mode it does that nice automatic thing where it pops open taller to reveal the whole contents of the field -- but I *don't* want the user to be able to enter the field in Browse mode and change the spellings etc.

Is there a simple or clever way to handle this sort of visibility issue?

Yes, use a tooltip. Select the field, add a tooltip that = the field.
