Does Filemaker support superscripts and subscripts?

I am making a value list that has squared values and want them to display normally not with ^2.

You can format text as superscript/subscript either manually (Format > Style > ...) or in a calculation using the TextStyleAdd() function.

No, THAT won't work. But you could define the value list to 'Show values from field...'.
