Pushkraj Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Hi, How I shall be able to move all my filemaker database records (Comprising of container fields storing images directly and not stored as reference) to Excel sheet I tried creating excel using export field contents and export records and save as excel script step to do that but what I found is,text showing image file name or path is rather than the image itself.
Pushkraj Posted April 9, 2009 Author Posted April 9, 2009 Hi, Hi not sure where to put this problem. I rather prefered to put under this (Import / Export) section, since I did not received any reply. I have a database storing picture images in a container field (Not as a reference, but directly) How should I export single or multiple records to excel. I should be able to see all the picture images in excel sheet. Pushkraj
mr_vodka Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I am going to kindly ask you for the second time in your last 3 posts within the last 2 week to stop double posting. Most members will see all the postings at once. If you have not received any answers on your post after a few days, just write back to your post. There are two frequent reasons why you have not received any answers. 1. Vagueness. The number one answer. Keep in mind that people who read these threads are not mind readers. 2. Don't have experience with your issue. Its hard to give you an answer if they have never come across it themselves. Once again. Please DO NOT DOUBLE POST AGAIN.
mr_vodka Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Most likely you will have to export the field contents to temp local images, store the path, export that path, and then run a macro in Excel that imports each one from the path.
