When I open a "Show Dialog Window" that was previously open in a expanded or shrinked down view

Seem to retain it's size?

Any ideas how to solve this ughhhh

Only one way that I know of (I thought closing the file would reset the dialogs but it doesn't) ... you must select Edit > Preferences and General tab and click Reset. I don't know of any way via script to set all dialog boxes (or even just the Custom Dialog inside the script) back to default size.

Appreciate.. so what do others use.. A troi dialog or another?

if dialog message is big... other than a short 1 line,,,yes/no etc ,,,

I have tend to put to much info in some of these... most info and a OK to exit

The easiest method is to open a new window that *looks* like a dialog.
