u all have seen this using OPEN URL script step of filemaker.

"mailto:[email protected]?subject="helo">mail"

I just want to know if we can add another attribute like the subject . I want to attach a file too that is on the client.

once the mail button is clicked outlook is to be opened with to as [email protected] subject as "helo" and attach as "somefil.txt" which is on the client

Is it possible? Please guide.

As far as I know it should use the RFC standard. See if this link helps

Thanks for the support. However this link does not provide any info of how to attach a PDF file along with the mail.

Sorry, I missed your requirement to attach a file.

I noticed your previous posting with the Send Mail problem - what are you actually trying to do?

Use the "Send Mail" script step rather then open url. Open url is useful for many other things..
