I'd like to use the Send Mail script command but not sure how to get Filemaker to open up my gmail which is what I use on my Mac.

Could someone give me a high level on how to accomplish this.

In FM10, the Send Mail script step does not require an email client. You simply specify your SMTP settings in FM.

  3. Adjust your preference.
