I have one client running 5 FMP servers as part of a huge integrated system. ------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Kurt Knippel Consultant Database Resources mailto:[email protected] http://www.database-resources.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

manitobaangler Posted February 1, 2001 Posted February 1, 2001 CaptKurt, in such a case of exceeding the 125 file limit and expanding to multiiple servers, what issues have to be considered. (if no web service) I'd imagine the db's have to be grouped together on each server according to what files/records are called through relationships. Is it a case having to go to web access with multiple servers or revamp your solution to avoid it? I don't have this situation, yet, just wondering. LiveOak Posted February 2, 2001 Posted February 2, 2001 We usually load balance the files by use. Related files don't have to be on the same server. -bd
