Newbies khnumhotep Posted June 18, 2009 Newbies Posted June 18, 2009 Hi all, Apologies if this question has already been answered but i couldn't find anything thing on the forum to help. Basically i'm looking to find out if it is possible to click on the thumbnails i have on my database in order to open them up to few at full size. The thumbnails are in a container field which i put there by right clicking and then "insert picture". I presume this is the right way of doing things? I would have thought it would be fairly straight forward to then click on this image to inlarge it but can't find how. I have had to resort to exporting the field contents to my desktop before opening but it's quite time consuming. Any comments greatly appreciated
bcooney Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 If an image is stored in a container (as opposed to referenced), then to view at full-size, it needs to be exported and opened. You can right-click to export or create a "View" button that has a script attached which exports with the option to automatically open. You can also create another layout that has a larger container field, and never leave FM to view a larger version of the thumbnail. Or, you can store the image as a reference (and don't move the source file). If so, then double-clicking the container field will open the file.
mr_vodka Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Another option may be to use Supercontainer to generate your thumbnails for you. http://www.360works.com/supercontainer/
