tooltips don't show up reliably

Since migrating to FM10 tooltips show up very little if at all , mostly not? Have tried deleting and re-formatting & restarting.

Try saving a copy as compact first. If that doesnt improve it then make a backup copy and use the newly modified recover feature to see if there are any issue.

I am not aware of any issues with tooltips for FM10.

Actually I've had a lot of problems getting tool tips to "wake up" in most versions of FileMaker. There seems to be something that needs to happen to get them to draw the first time. Once you've gotten one to draw then the others will show up normally.
