I'm trying to figure out the best way to transfer records from one solution to another. i have a remote relationship established but I'm finding i actually need a separate record created.--scenario-- we have a sales database doing invoicing shipping and a sales tickler. we have outsourced the lead generation aspect with a separate company and both sides agree to not share a single solution. When a record is ready for sales I'm looking for a real time solution to transfer the record with having to im/ex every night or have our sales people digging around in two databases for their data

If you have Server 10 then you can have something like a server side script export the records every night, ftp the file over to the other location, and server side script at that location import.

Or you can use bot machine with pro on it with access to both servers do it for you.

I think we may need further details...

it seems there would be a way to create a new record in a different solution. i currently do it with dirrerent tables thru a portal
