Newbies macfrank Posted July 15, 2009 Newbies Posted July 15, 2009 Hi, A client has been printing for years on a network Dymo Label Writer 330 Turbo, on a Windows machine with Filemaker 8. Then after a power outage in which the server crash, printing labels started skipping records. eg. found set = 6 ; printed labels 3 (no blank labels just skipped records) Odd thing is that a coworker doesn't have the problem. Don't know about other machines. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Frank
Newbies macfrank Posted July 15, 2009 Author Newbies Posted July 15, 2009 Reinstall print driver? That's what I'm going to try. Just seeing if anyone has any other ideas. Thanks
fseipel Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 The typical reason for this would be an incorrect page setup; for instance, the height is set longer than the label's actual length, so the driver rasterizes 2 labels, but during printing, the printer encounters the label break and resets the page buffer, so only every odd record is truncated. Compare all page setup parameters as well as driver version between the computer that works, and the one that doesn't.

In my experience, a longer setup produces blank label but I definitely look into your idea. Thanks
André Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I had this once, and it turned out to be a hidden checkbox; print evens (or odds) only. just my 2¢
