Value lists in find mode

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have several related value lists in my database. When I create a new record, these value lists work fine. However, when I enter find mode, the related value lists not longer work --- the only option is ''No values defined''. Does anyone know why?

Thanks.

Do you have a field that requires an active record on one side of your relationship? Sounds like it. As far as fixing this, it just depends on the situation. Please provide more details. If you can take screenshots, please send a screenshot of your relationship and the field definitions for both sides of the relationship.

In find mode, the relationship is no longer because there is nothing to match on. However, a value in a global field will remain in find mode and therefore, the relationship will be valid for the second value list. IOW, you should use a global field and/or set a global field perhaps with a script trigger.
