I am very new at this sorry if this is a dumb question.

I need a script that find and replaces whatever it is i have on my clipboard meaning whatever it is i just copied.

so i create a new script then go to perform find and replace....then specify...then on find what i want to put there a calculation i would guess that tells it to find whatever it is i have on my clip board. Is this even possible? all help is appreciated.

Filemaker provides no access to the clipboard other than copy and paste. And Find/Replace works only on fields, too. You could make your script paste into a global field, do Find/Replace and copy the result. Not sure why you need all this - perhaps there's a better way to accomplish what you're really after.
