Determine Current Mode

Is it possible in a script to determine the current mode? For instance I would like to have a script with an if statement that says

If current mode = browse

do this

Else If current mode = Preview

do that

Else

Do the other

end If

Yes, use Get (WindowMode) or a OnModeEnter script trigger.
