Creating a Layout MAP - Conditional Formatting

Featured Replies

I am trying to make a Layout that will help me assign lockers in a locker room. If a locker is assigned, I would like the locker number to turn red.

I have each locker as a separate record in: LockerTable

I have locks in a separate table as I reassign them each year.

I have students in another table.

Each time I assign a student to a locker, I have a field in the LockerTable that automatically changes to the number 1.

I am able to conditionally format the text that I have in this layout, however I only am able to conditionally run this formatting on ONE record.

Is their anyway to conditionally format many text items in the same layout however individually specify which RECORD their formatting should be based upon?

I have attached a picture that may help explain this... The picture shows conditional formatting working, however all based upon ONE record.

Thank you!!!!

I am only guessing here, because the picture doesn't say which layout is being used and what the relationships are - but you could probably use the GetNthRecord() function for this.

Another option would be to show the lockers in portals (several instances of the same portal, each showing different rows).
