Anyone update an OS X machine running Server 5.5 to 10.1.3 yet?

I had success with an iMac running FMP 5.5v2, but haven't updated my server box yet.

I'll post tonight after I update.

okay so I haven't updated yet, I'll try tomorrow, and post...

Is anyone else even interested in updating, or are you all waiting?

I'm going to try too. I am going to wait for one of you to give it a go first though. After blazing my way through the 10.x.x and dealing with the scheduler problems, I'm not keen on messing with it.

Let me know how it goes.

Hey spragueg,

Have you jumped in yet?

I still haven't, but I'm considering it soon.

let me know if you've tried...

Nope.

I would like to but I'm in the middle of a huge project and scheduled to start another within a week. I don't want to get bogged down with problems so I think I'm going to wait.

I updated to FMP Server in OS X...running 10.1.3...and I have been having some problems...haven't figured it out yet. FMP runs fine...but I can't get server to keep running...it keeps shutting down every few minutes.

I ran the update on Friday and it went well.

I was updating an 867Mhz G4, and I did experience the noted "optimization hang" but after a reboot everything's been working great.

The system is faster/more responsive and I haven't noted ANY problems (other than the irregular built-in backup, but we all know about that ).

agraham999 are you still having trouble? How was it running before the update?

Are any of your db files ones you've 'recovered'

I've noticed that FMP Server 5.5 is MUCH more picky about having good/clean files than Server 5 on OS 8/9 was.

Anyway it's been 3 days, and it's all thumbs up over here!!
