keeping the current found set when running this script?

Featured Replies

I am using the following script:

ignore the commented out parts - those I will turn on once I figure out my issue below...

// Set Variable [ $found; Value:Get ( FoundCount ) ]

// If [ Get ( FoundCount ) > 250 ]

// Show Custom Dialog [ Title: "Over 250 items to be selected!"; Message: "You are selecting " & $found & " records to add. If this is

correct please click Add, otherwise click Cancel"; Buttons: “Add”, “Cancel” ]

// If [ Get ( LastMessageChoice )=2 ]

#run if they choose ok to over 250

Set Error Capture [ On ]

Enter Find Mode [ ]

Set Field [ Art Database::selected; Get ( AccountName ) ]

Perform Find [ ]

Show Omitted Only

Replace Field Contents [ Art Database::selected; Replace with calculation: Get ( AccountName ) & "¶" & Art Database::selected ]

[ No dialog ]

Show All Records

// End If

// End If

its works great with one exception...

I would like to have it only impact the current found set the user is working with. Right now it adds the account name for every record.

I am not sure how to do this. Would someone mind steering me in the right direction?

I tried inserting a contrain find but was not sure where to go with it, or if thats even the way to do it.

ignore my post.

I cannot believe the ENTER FIND MODE, and Perform find was looking me right in the face and I didnt see it and remove it. That was part of an initial test.

I removed that and it only impacts the found set the user has up.

grrr sometimes I wonder how I remember the way to work!!!

hahaha
