HI i want to know that when i am creating a value list using relationship from another table then what is the use of "include only related values starting from" in this drop down table names are lying.plz tell me what's the use of this option.

Hi John,

This provides for conditional value lists. For instance, if your first value list is car manufacturers then you can restrict your second value list to only models made by the manufacturer chosen in the first value list.

The best way to learn this technique is to study the examples provided on Comment's blog here . Scroll down and you will find Conditional Value Lists. My favorite is two-tiered with self-clearing. In fact, I suggest everyone study ALL of these files.

So when you are creating your second value list which needs to be filtered by the first, you would check 'include only related values.' :smile2:
