October 29, 200916 yr I want to deauthorized and uninstall filemaker server 10 from one machine and install it on another. Is it necessary or possible to deauthorize the install on the old machine before installing on the new one? This is on an OS X 10.5 system. Darren Burgess
October 30, 200916 yr You cannot have two servers running the same code: the second server will fail to start. It would be possible to install on the second machine without it connected to the network so it's ready to roll-out and replace the other machine.
October 30, 200916 yr Or possibly even download the FMSA trial which runs for 30 days, then upgrade the license key.
October 30, 200916 yr Simply uninstall the first machine, and then install on the second machine. There is no authorization process for Server 10. Steven
